When my two boys, now 6 & 7 were big enough to climb into a two door and buckle themselves into their booster seats, I jumped at the chance to pick up another Mustang. This car had a solid drivetrain, with only 50k on an engine and trans rebuild when I got it. Unfortunately, the body was another story. Just about the only good panel on it was the roof, the rest of the car was littered with dents (big & small) cracked bumpers, and scratches everywhere. So naturally, it got a makeover. It also got dropped 2" with an Eibach pro kit and Bilstien shock/struts. You can see all the pics of the transformation here: http://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l-general-discussion/613577-body-and-paint-work-on-my-00-gt.html.
It remains my daily driver and I have no intentions of getting rid of it any time soon...and the kids love it!
